Since graduating with high distinction from the Acting program of the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada, where he trained in a Classical conservatory setting. Salvatore Antonio has developed an impressive resume boasting a broad range of television, film, and theatre credits, playing primarily lead and guest-starring roles, and has enjoyed the privilege of working with some of the industry’s most gifted actors and directors in film, television, and stage.
In addition to his film and television work, Salvatore also maintains his foundation in live theatre, both as an actor and a published playwright.
As a writer, Antonio’s first play
IN GABRIEL’S KITCHEN, was selected as a Finalist for the Canada's equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize; the Governor-General’s Award for Literary Drama. The play is published by Playwrights Canada Press, and has been produced internationally, with premieres in Canada (
Toronto
), Europe ( Florence,
Italy
), and the U.S (
San Francisco
&
New York
) over the past three years. Salvatore is also a respected Acting Coach, who teaches Acting For The Camera at The National Theatre School of Canada.
